My Story

Reading poetry at The Belly Up in Solana Beach, CA.

Performing with The Silent Comedy at Petco Park in San Diego, CA.

Hello, I’m Noah, a Writer and Editor.

Over the last decade I served as the Managing Editor of Brandingmag, helped global brands tell lasting stories, and contributed to 30+ publications including SPIN, Fretboard Journal, Aquarium Drunkard, and Please Kill Me among others.

In 2019, my first book, Saturday Night Sage was published by Blind Owl Records. Select poems were recorded for a limited edition vinyl release called Sounds from the Shadow Factory. Those recordings were then transformed into a series of award-winning short films that premiered at film festivals nationally.

I’ve had the honor of guest lecturing at both San Diego State University and the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, teaching branding, marketing, and rhetoric and persuasive writing students in undergrad and graduate programs.

As a lifelong musician, I’ve toured with internationally recognized bands and recorded with various groups. As a guitarist and solo artist, I still take every opportunity to get on stage and make music with a handful of projects that are near and dear to me.

Currently, I’m working on my next book–a speculative fiction novel, partnering with brands and creative clients, writing for a few publications, and spending as much time as possible with my wife and children in the mountains.
